Building an Igloo

If you are too bored to sit at home, just grab your mittens, put on the warmest clothes you have and try yourself at building an igloo. Your kids will appreciate this. You can also make it complicated by digging tunnels and corridors inside.

Paint on the snow

Snow can be colorful. Just grab a can with paint and do it, build a snowman and turn it into a colorful clown. Make a turtle and let it swim in the water made of blue snow.

Feel like a Snow Queen

Act a little bit. Make a huge armchair of snow, put a costume on and sit. Feel like a queen. Don’t forget to ask your friends to make a photo of you. Maybe you can win a contest!

Make a fort

If you are ready to spend more than one hour in the snow, this activity is for you. Build a fort and organize a snowball fight.

Make angels

Go out after a snowfall and make a snow angel. Just lie down and move both legs and arms simultaneously.

Search for footprints

Go to the forest and look how many kinds of footprints you can find. Maybe you can recognize which animals they belong to.

Go sledding

You can build your own slide or, if you are lazy, just search for a big hill in the nearest park. Take a piece of plastic, wood, or carton and you are ready to go.
